From a tiny seed of an idea in 2013, a few of us folks who live or own property at Better in Belize Ecovillage (BIB) put together a scholarship program for BIB workers’ families, and now we are extending our reach to our wider community! In 2020 we changed our name to Mano Amiga Belize Scholarships to align with other projects we have started and with the community we serve. Our goal is to provide funding to ensure that all school age children in our area in Belize’s Cayo district can attend school each year.
